Breakin' Up is Hard, but Moving on is Even Harder.

Since the very beginning, Wale's had our hearts in his hands and our ears to his speakers. He manages to capture real-life situations through vivid, poetic description, smooth beats, and obvious experience. "The Break Up Song", one of the many noteworthy tracks on his latest, irrationally successful mixtape, More About Nothing. This song depicts the difficult transition out of a meaningful relationship. The song speaks on relationship rules and just the general idea of falling out of love. I LOVE it.

The video is also pretty good. I mean, let's give it ✭ ✭ ✭ / out of 5.

This video's very literal. I mean, it's about the song, precisely (which I can totally respect because in this day and age, artists lose themselves in the voyage to distinction and sacrifice their video's relation to the song). Basically, Wale has a love interest, who's the campus hottie. The video takes you on a journey through different days throughout the relationship and it's occurrences. My favorite thing about the video would have to be the expectation vs. reality sector. It visually embodies the disappointment you feel from a turn in events and how they effect the rest of a situation.

Anyway, hottie-Mc-hot-hot ends the video, breaking up with Wale in a text while having sex with some other guy, and trying to compensate with "It's just not working out, call me when you're ready to be friends". I didn't like that. That was realistic as hell, but it's a shot at any cute-faced, big booty girl. Not cool, Wale -___-

Buuuuuut, here's a few screen shots!

I love the 6th one. It's too cute.
& without further or due, here is the video:
